WordPress Meetup in Moscow

22 July 2012 by Konstatin Kovshenin

The fifth WordPress Meetup in Moscow was held last Saturday morning, in one of our favorite (but not the cheapest) places – Local Time. Four short sessions covered P2, GlotPress, a couple of theme announcements, and caching in WordPress. It was fun, as always, and a little less than half of the attendees were new people, which means we’re growing.

During the meetup, we also announced our new Meetup P2, which is a place where we’ll hang out, instead of being scattered all over Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Habrahabr, Free-lance.ru and so on. The new P2 will be our primary resource, so all photos, slides, and everything else will be posted there.

We try to gather once every month, so our next meetup is scheduled for August, not too long after WordCamp San Francisco. If you’re in Russia, somewhere near the Moscow Kremlin, for work or vacation, get in touch, and we’ll try to do the scheduling right 🙂
